Pakistan's Mohammad Amir explains decision to retire from international cricket

Pakistan bowler Mohammad Amir claims he has been ‘mentally tortured’ after retiring from international cricket.

‘I am not going away from cricket but I am being pushed away from it,’ he told Samaa TV.

‘The environment that has been created, I feel that I cannot play cricket under this management.

‘I feel that I am leaving cricket at this time because I am being mentally tortured.’

He added: ‘I was always available for white-ball cricket but I have had shabby treatment.

‘I don’t want to play international cricket any more,’
