Australia legend Shane Warne has picked Michael Vaughan and Kevin Pietersen in his greatest England XI.
The legendary leg-spinner, who took a staggering 708 Test wickets, opted for Graham Gooch and Andrew Strauss as his two openers.
Vaughan, who scored 18 Test hundreds and inspired England’s stunning victory over Australia in the infamous 2005 Ashes series, comes in at No. 3 in Warne’s side.
The Australia hero picked England greats Kevin Pietersen and Nasser Hussain in the middle order and Alec Stewart as the team’s wicketkeeper-batsman.

Andrew Flintoff, widely considered one of England’s greatest all-rounders, makes an appearance at No. 6, with his 2005 Ashes team-mate Ashley Giles selected as the main spinner.
Darren Gough and Steve Harmison, who took a combined 455 Test wickets, bolster a bowling attack led by England record wicket-taker James Anderson.
Warne only played a handful of Tests against Anderson but said: ‘Out of all the fast bowlers, you could see James Anderson had something straight away.
‘I only played a few Tests against him but he fully deserves to be in there as one of the great fast bowlers.’
