When is Royal Ascot 2021? How to get tickets to next year’s festival

Royal Ascot 2021 is expected to return to normal next year with crowds and the Queen attending once again.

Normally 300,000 weekly spectators attend the five-day festival, with a dress code of morning dress for men and formal day wear for women in place.

The Queen also arrives by Royal Procession along the racecourse with her guests on all five days of the festival, before taking up her position in the Royal Enclosure.

Of course, none of that was possible this year due to social distancing guidelines meaning racing fans – including the Queen – has had to watch the action from home on TV.

So if you’re interested in going to Royal Ascot 2021, here’s the important information you need to know.

Next year’s Ascot festival will again be held in mid-June, this time from Tuesday June 15-Saturday June 19.

Ladies Day is traditionally on the Thursday of Royal Ascot, meaning next year it would be on Thursday June 17.

Friday also sees the Commonwealth Cup race held, while the final day’s racing boasts three Group 1 races, including the Coventry and Queen Mary Stakes.
